My Number One

I decided to take a picture of my Coldplay Spotify playlist to show what I'm currently listening to. Coldplay is my absolute FAVORITE band. Whenever I'm feeling stressed, upset, or even just want to relax, Coldplay is the band I listen to. I can listen to them at any time of the day and they'll make me the happiest person. I can remember listening to Coldplay ever since I was a kid because of my mom, so I'm assuming that's how I fell in love with them. My dream is to see them in concert. I've been to so many concerts in my life (again thanks to my mom), but the one band I have yet to see is Coldplay. Hopefully that dream can come true at some point in my life.

Music Lover

Ever since I could remember, I was always singing along to music that my mom would play around the house. It's because of my mother that I absolutely love all types of music and I thank her for that. A lot of people nowadays, especially at my age, like only a couple genres. You have some people that love country and pop but hate rap, or you have people that love rap and hate country. I, however, could listen to anything from Coldplay to Drake to Kenny Chesney to The Used to some oldies (of course) and so on. I love it all so much. Thanks to my cool mom for raising me to know and enjoy great music.

If I had to pick my favorite genre, I would definitely pick alternative. Whether its hard core or chill, I can listen to it whenever. I feel that alternative music has a lot of meaning. Obviously other types of genres have meanings too but not everyone really understands the meaning of music. They just listen to the beat and sing the chorus because it's catchy. In alternative music I can hear and feel what the artist is trying to say along with the beat.

Sure everyone's different but when it comes to music, everyones almost the same. People my age don't understand the true meaning of some good music. I can honestly say that I've only met one person that actually enjoys some good music and likes what I like, which is everything. Yeah it sounds cliche, but music really is my life. I don't know what I would do without it. And it's all thanks to the coolest mom ever. So thanks mom. You're pretty rad.
